Error Message When You Put Several Pages of a Document in to an E-Mail Message (814834)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Copy and Paste commands to put several pages of a document into a Microsoft Outlook Express e-mail message, you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you click the click here link, you receive an error signature that is similar to the following:
   AppName    AppVer         ModName     ModVer         Offset
   -------------------------------------------------------------
   msimn.exe  6.0.2800.1106  mshtml.dll  6.0.2800.1141  0013d8b8
This symptom may also occur with another program such as Microsoft Outlook if it uses the HTML edit function on Mshtml.dll.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the update that is described in the following Knowlege Base article:

816506 Internet Explorer or Outlook Express Quits Unexpectedly with an Error in Mshtml.dll

The English version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
