  • Microsoft Message Queuing 2.0

SYMPTOMS

You may lose recoverable messages if you restart or shut down the receiver.

CAUSE

This issue occurs if Microsoft Message Queuing, also known as MSMQ, 2.0 sends a storage acknowledgement without verifying that it successfully stored the message.

RESOLUTION

Shut down or restart the system by using the menu options in Windows to make sure that recoverable messages work correctly. Recoverable messages may not work if there is a power outage or if the power cord is unplugged. Use transactional messages in those cases.
