SYMPTOMS
When you send a message from Novell GroupWise to an Exchange Server recipient, the sender's GroupWise
address does not appear correctly in the received message. If the recipient replies to the
address, the message is not delivered.
For example, the GroupWise address (when you view it in Microsoft Outlook) may look similar to any of the following examples:
- user_name.[domain.com]
- WPD=Internet, WPU=user_name, ARI=domain.com
- WPD=Internet, WPU=user_name, ARI=[domain.com]
- WPD=domain, WPPO=gwia, WPU=user_name, ARI=domain.com
- WPD=firsthopdom, WPPO=firsthoppo, WPU=user_name, ARI=domain
You expect the address to look similar to the following address:
RESOLUTION
A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

The English version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the
Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
