Keyboard shortcuts do not function on delegated mailbox (814760)



The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server

SYMPTOMS

When you are a delegate for a mailbox in Outlook 2000, you may not be able to use the following keyboard shortcuts when you work with the e-mail messages in the mailbox:
  • END: Does not move the pointer to the last message in the mailbox.
  • HOME: Does not move the pointer to the first message in the mailbox.
  • CTRL+A: Does not select all the messages in the mailbox.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Exchange 2000 Server service pack that contains this hotfix.
