XL: When You Change the Case of Characters in a Formula, the Change Is Not Retained (814561)

SYMPTOMSWhen you change the case of characters in an Excel formula, the change is not retained.
For example, if you initially type the formula =TEst in cell A1 and then press ENTER, this incorrect case formatting is retained even after you retype the formula as =TEST.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, close the workbook without saving it, and then reopen the workbook.STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
