OL2002: "Set ActiveExplorer.CurrentFolder = Session.GetDefaultFolder(olFolder<FolderName>)" Does Not Work As Expected in the FolderSwitch Event (814554)

SYMPTOMS

When you use Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code to customize Microsoft Outlook, you may not be able to use the following code in the FolderSwitch event:
Set ActiveExplorer.CurrentFolder = Session.GetDefaultFolder(olFolderFolderName)
(In this example, FolderName is the name of the folder that you want to switch the focus to.) When you try to use this code, the focus does not switch to the correct folder.

RESOLUTION

STATUS
