SYMPTOMS
When you repeatedly ungroup a picture, and then undo each of
the ungroupings, you may receive the following error message:

If the problem persists,

When you click
Details
(on Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition, press ALT+D), you receive the
following information: WINWORD caused an invalid page
fault in Mso.dll at 000e22f6.
Note The actual memory address may vary.
In Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
An application error has occurred and an
application error log is being generated.

In Microsoft Windows 2000
Winword.exe has generated
errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the

To view the error
log in Microsoft Windows 2000, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to
Search, and then click For Files or Folders.
- In the Search for files or folders named
box, type Drwtsn32.log.
- Click Search Now.
- Right-click the file, and then click
Openon the shortcut menu.
By default, the
Drwtsn32.log file is located in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\DrWatson
In Microsoft Windows XP
Microsoft Word has encountered a

RESOLUTION
A supported fix is now available
from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem described in
this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific
problem. This fix may receive additional testing to further ensure product
quality. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft
recommends that you wait for the next Office 2000 service pack that contains
this fix.
