MSBBN: Cannot Install Your Notebook Adapter on Your PDA (814486)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install your Microsoft broadband network adapter on a PDA device such as a Pocket PC, there may not be a driver to install. Although your PDA device may detect the network adapter, when you try to install the device, you may not be able to find a driver.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because as of February 2003, Microsoft broadband network adapters are not supported on PDA devices, and no drivers are available.
