The shortcut menu in the Command Prompt window does not appear in the correct language for your regional and language settings in Windows Server 2003 (814336)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Windows Server 2003, when you right-click the Command Prompt window, the shortcut menu appears in a language that is different from the language that you have set for your computer in Regional and Language Options.

CAUSE

This issue occurs if the user locale does not match the user interface language that you set by using Regional and Language Options in Control Panel.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section of this article.
