FIX: EPG Import Picks Up the Wrong TMS Data Folder (814265)

SYMPTOMS

EPG Import picks up the first TMS data folder that is available in the TMS folder (for example, 2002-10-11-tms) to process the data. If there are two or more folders, EPG Import picks up the first TMS data folder that appears in the default sorting order.

CAUSE

There are cases where an older TMS folder was not removed (the reason that this occurs is not known). This behavior might cause EPG Import to pick up the wrong TMS data folder.

WORKAROUND

To avoid this problem, verify that the folder selection follows the same algorithm that EPG Import uses when it fetches the TMS data.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in IPG 1.1. This problem was corrected in IPG 1.5.
