SYMPTOMSWhen you try to start Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania, or after you
run the product for few minutes, you may receive the following error message
before the program quits: Microsoft Zoo Tycoon has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.

here. When you view the data in the error report, the report
contains an error signature that is similar to the following:

ModVer:12.4.0.9 Offset:00003413 CAUSEThis issue may occur if there is an incompatibility between
Microsoft Zoo Tycoon and third party add-ons, or if the game becomes corrupted.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Clean boot your computer.

- Remove Zoo Tycoon. To do so, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click
Control Panel.
- Double-click Add or Remove
Programs.
- Click Microsoft Zoo Tycoon, and then
click Remove.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to completely remove
the game.
- Install the game. To do so, insert the Microsoft Zoo Tycoon
CD in the CD drive or DVD drive. If your computer does not automatically
install the product after you insert the CD, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click
Run.
- Type
x:\Setup, where
x is the letter of your CD-ROM drive, and then click
OK. For example, if your CD-ROM drive letter is D, type
D:\Setup.
- Click Install, and then follow the
on-screen instructions.
