JScript Problems in Internet Explorer 5.5 for Windows CE (814067)


The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Windows CE Platform Builder 4.1

SYMPTOMS

The following JScript-related problems have been identified in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 for Windows CE and are addressed by this update:
  • If a Web page is periodically scrolled by using JScript code, and if the browser window is minimized while the JScript code is still running, the region of the desktop that was occupied by the Web page continues to scroll.
  • If IESample is used, when a user visits a Web site that uses JScript and then quits the browser, the shell may be unresponsive for approximately 30 seconds. One example of a shell action that might be blocked for approximately 30 seconds is opening My Computer from the desktop.

RESOLUTION
