You receive a "To install Media Player rerun Office Setup" error message if you do not have the current version of Windows Media Player (813613)

SYMPTOMSYou may experience either or both of the following symptoms:
- When you try to save and close an online meeting
appointment through Microsoft Windows Media Services, you may receive an error
message that is similar to the following:
Microsoft
Outlook. Media Player is required to view this media file. To install Media
Player rerun Office Setup. However, Microsoft Windows Media Player is
not part of Microsoft Office XP Setup. - When you click View Windows Media on the
right side of the taskbar, you may receive an error message that is similar to
the following:
Microsoft Outlook. Media Player is required
to view this media file. To install Media Player rerun Office
Setup. You may receive this error message two times. The first time it
is displayed on the right side of the taskbar as a notification bubble, and
then as an error message bubble.
CAUSEThis behavior may occur if your version of Windows Media
Player is out of date. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install the latest version of
Windows Media Player. For information about how to do so, visit the following
Microsoft Web site: Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the most
current version of Windows Media Player. STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
