Your USB Device Does Not Work After Hibernation (812946)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to use your USB device, you may experience one
or more of the following symptoms:
- Your USB device may not work.
- Your USB device may have a yellow exclamation point (!)
next to it in the Unplug or Eject Hardware dialog
box.
CAUSEThis issue may occur if:
- You connect your USB device to the USB port while the
computer is in hibernation.
- You resume your computer from hibernation.
- You disconnect your USB device from the USB port while your
computer is in hibernation.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue:
- While Windows is running and your computer is not in
hibernation, disconnect your USB device.
- Connect your USB device to the USB port.
