SYMPTOMS

When you use the Active Directory Replication Monitor tool (Replmon.exe) that is included with the Microsoft Windows 2000 Support Tools, the tool may not display a complete list of the Active Directory directory service replication partners for a particular server. This problem may occur when you use several features of the Replmon.exe tool. For example, this problem may occur when you expand the replication partners of a domain controller for a particular naming context. If you have debug logging turned on, the following warning message is logged in the IADsTools log (Iadstools.log):Warning Application c:\temp\iadstools.log: Thread ID: 2488 ,Logged: date and time IADsTools Event: GetDirectPartnersEx: The API returned more partners than IADsTools is designed for.
