Cannot Remove Everyone Group from RSOP Planning Mode (812543)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP) tool in Planning mode to simulate the resultant effect of policy settings, you may have unexpected results. The RSoP tool may incorrectly show that Group Policy is applied to the Guest account when in fact the Group Policy is not applied to the Guest account.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because you cannot remove the Everyone group when you use the Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP) tool in Planning mode.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
