BellSouth DSL Connection Is Lost After You Upgrade to Windows XP (812444)

SYMPTOMS

When you upgrade to Windows XP, your BellSouth DSL connection may be dropped. You may also receive the following error message:
Error e0041 fail on create device ntspppoe49.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you have BellSouth DSL with a FastAccess Modem, and the DSL is improperly configured to work with Windows XP.

To resolve this issue, download the BellSouth configuration materials. To do so, visit the following BellSouth Web site:
