Upgrade From Windows NT to Windows 2000 Does not Succeed (812347)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to upgrade to Windows 2000 from Microsoft
Windows NT 4.0, you may experience any of the following behaviors:
CAUSEThis issue may occur if pcAnywhere interferes with the
installation of Windows 2000.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, remove pcAnywhere from your computer
before you install Windows 2000. To do so, follow these steps:
- Quit any programs that are running, and then stop the
pcAnywhere host service.
- Click Start, point to
Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove
Programs.
- Click pcAnywhere, and then click
Add/Remove .
- To complete the process, follow the on-screen instructions

If the program cannot be removed by using Add/Remove
