XADM: Exchange Instant Messenging Does Not Limit the Number of Open Connections (812219)

SYMPTOMS

When users log on to Exchange 2000 Server Instant Messaging on more than one computer, Exchange makes it possible for more than one connection to remain open simultaneously.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Exchange Instant Messaging does not limit the number of connections that a user can have open at one time.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
