FIX: Discounts that are applied by using BizDesk do not work on virtual catalogs (811836)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 SP1

SYMPTOMS

When you try to import a large XML catalog file (for example, 5000 products) through BizDesk and you create a virtual catalog for the catalog file, price rules are not correctly applied. Only a few of the products receive the new price.

Additionally, you notice that the SQLservr.exe process operates at 100% CPU utilization for a significant period of time.
