Screen Resolutions in Rotation Mode Are Not Displayed in Control Panel Resolution Slider (811790)

SYMPTOMS

When the driver rotates a 800 × 600 or a 640 × 480 screen resolution by 90 degrees, the resolution is not available in the resolution slider of the Control Panel program.

CAUSE

The Control Panel program filters out any resolution that has a width less than 640 pixels or a height less than 480 pixels. When either of these resolutions is rotated, they fail this test and are filtered out.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
