Session Summary



In this Support WebCast session, you will hear about the preliminary considerations and prerequisites that you must review before you install Microsoft Project 2002 Professional or Microsoft Project 2002 Server. You will also learn about the initial setup of Microsoft Project 2002 Professional to communicate with Microsoft Project Server, and the workflow between the Project Manager and the resources. The WebCast will provide an introduction to the product, discuss the major components and requirements, talk about the architecture, and review the workflow.

This is a Level 100 session that was recorded January 23, 2003 and presented by Larry Block and LaDonna Carpenter. Larry Block came to Microsoft as a Project Manager with more than three years experience in the field. As a Product Escalation Lead and Technical Lead at Microsoft, he has focused his attention on working with the customers to guarantee their success when using any release of Microsoft Project. LaDonna Carpenter joined Microsoft as a Project Support Professional in 2000, having supported Microsoft Project since 1997. As a technical lead at Microsoft, her primary focus is toward increasing technical readiness of the Microsoft Project support team to respond to all levels of customer issues and also working with the team to make sure that each support professional provides the highest quality support to every customer.
