XCON: Dirsynch Converts String Values in Active Directory to Boolean Values in Lotus Domino Directory (811749)

SYMPTOMS

Directory synchronization from Exchange 2000 and Active Directory to a Lotus Domino Directory may incorrectly convert certain attribute types from string type to Boolean type. The original type information is lost. For example, the LASTNAME attribute in an Active Directory object with the value of "TRUE" (example: Brandon True) is synchronized to the Lotus Domino Directory as the value "1" (Example: Brandon 1). A user with the LASTNAME attribute set to "FALSE" is set in the Domino Directory to "0".
