The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMSWhen you are remotely controlling a Systems Management Server (SMS) client
from a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer, the control buttons on the Quick Viewer window might
be distorted. Specifically, the Minimize button might not work. The button shifts positions and is distorted when you try to minimize the Quick Viewer
window.CAUSESMS Remote Control assumes that the buttons have a fixed size,
and the Windows XP-style buttons are larger than the Windows Classic-style
buttons. When the Quick Viewer window is redrawn, the button positions are
shifted based on the Windows Classic-style button sizes.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use the Windows Classic-style buttons. To do this, click Windows Classic style in the Windows and Buttons box on the Appearance tab in the Display Properties dialog box. STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
