BUG #: 13828 (Plato7x)

SYMPTOMS

When SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services drills down a ROLAP cube whose data is stored in SQL Server 2000, Analysis Service creates temporary tables to build aggregations. When a connection is released, these temporary tables remain as long as the connection is open. If these temporary tables are heavily used, the SQL Server tempdb database may grow unexpectedly.
