may receive the following error message: Unhandled Exception
c0000005 at address: 100016b8 PromulGate Universal has encountered a
problem and needs to close. CAUSEThis issue is caused by the DelFin Media
Viewer.RESOLUTIONWARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious
problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft
cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry
Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Remove DelFin Media Viewer from your computer according to
the DelFin Media Viewer's manufacturer's instructions. For help with removing
DelFin Media Viewer, contact the manufacturer, the DelFin Project, Inc. To do
this, visit the following DelFin Web site:
- Click Start, click Run,
type regedit, and then click
OK.
- Locate the Run registry key in the
following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
- Delete the Pgmonitr.exe string value. It
may also be listed as DelFin Media Viewer in the
Run list.
- Quit Registry Editor.
- Restart your computer.
