You cannot connect to your ISP with some Bluetooth cellular phones (811228)

SYMPTOMS

Support for Bluetooth wireless technology was added in Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1). However, you might not be able to connect to your Internet service provider (ISP) by using some cellular phones with Bluetooth connectivity. When this problem occurs, you receive the following error message:
Error 718: The connection was terminated because the remote computer did not respond in timely manner. For further assistance, click More Info or search Help and Support Center for this error number.
