XCCC: Event 8192 Logged When MSExchangeDCS Loses Connectivity (811209)

SYMPTOMS

Your users periodically have difficulty contacting your Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server. Some users may receive the following error message when they try to join or view a conference:
No T.120 MCU server is available
When you review the application logs on your Conferencing Management Service server and the server that hosts the T.120 Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) service, you may find entries similar to one or more of the following events:Event Type: Error

Description: : An error occurred while attempting to add the T.120 MCU IL06EXN01.mot.com to the server topology. Error code: 8004f034These messages appear in the application log at approximately the same time as users are experiencing difficulty connecting to the conferencing server. After a few moments, the MSExchangeDCS, the Exchange Conferencing Management Service, and the server that is hosting the T.120(MCU) resume communication and users can again connect to the conferences without difficulty.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
