FIX: Sony Memory Stick icon does not appear correctly for PCI or LPC Memory Stick readers (811206)

SYMPTOMSIf your computer has a Sony PCI or LPC Memory Stick
reader, when you view the device by using the Windows Media Device Manager (WMDM),
the default device icon may appear for this device instead of the Sony

the Windows Media Player. Visit the Microsoft Download Center to obtain
the most recent version of the Windows Media Player. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2.This problem does not occur for Sony USB Memory Stick
readers.
