SYMPTOMS

When you add a PC card or universal serial bus (USB) device to your portable computer, your computer may stop responding, and you may receive the following error message:
Stop: 0x00000050 (0xfffffff0 ,0x00000000, 0x8044d0da, 0x00000000) PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if you use a Roxio Inc.'s Easy CD Creator Platinum 5.0 installation that includes the Take Two backup software.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Roxio Inc. for upgrade and patch information for Easy CD Creator Platinum 5.0.
