able to connect to the network or to the Internet.CAUSEThis issue may occur if network adapters are installed that
are interfering with your wireless network. On Microsoft Windows 98-based
computers or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition-based computers, this issue
may be caused by America Online (AOL) network adapters.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, remove the network adapters that you
do not need, and then reinstall the BNU: Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the
following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your
product documentation to complete these steps.
- Click Start, click Control
Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and
then click Network Connections.
- Right-click any network connections that you do not need or
that you are not using, click Delete, and then click
Yes to confirm the deletion.
Note On a Windows 98-based computer, click Start,
point to Settings, click Control Panel, click
Network, and then click the Configuration
tab. - Click Start, click Control
Panel, and then click Add or Remove
Programs.
- Click Change or Remove Programs, click
Microsoft Broadband Networking, click Remove,
and then click OK to confirm the removal.
- Restart your computer, and then reinstall the BNU from the
installation disk.
