To run Microsoft RalliSport Challenge (PC), you need:

• Operating system: Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), Microsoft Windows 2000, or Microsoft Windows XP.
  
  Note Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft Windows NT are not supported.
• Computer: multimedia computer with a Pentium 733 megahertz (MHz) or greater processor.
• Memory (RAM): 128 megabytes (MB).
• Hard disk space: approximately 2 gigabytes (GB) of hard disk space for a full installation or approximately 1.2 GB of hard disk space for a compact installation.
• Video adapter: 32 MB 3D video adapter (GeForce, Radeon, or equivalent) that supports hardware transform and lighting.
• Monitor: Super VGA monitor that support 800 x 600 resolution in 16-bit color.
• Sound card: DirectX 8.1-compatible sound card with speakers or headphones.
• CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive: quad-speed or faster CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
• Pointing device: Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device.

The following hardware is required for multiple-player game sessions:

• A 56-kilobits-per-second (kbps) modem for multiple-player games with two to four players.
• Broadband or local area network (LAN) for games with five or more players.

Supported video hardware

RalliSport Challenge requires a minimum of 32 MB of memory for video hardware. Additionally, the video hardware must support Hardware Transform and Lighting. Your hardware must pass a system check when you start the game. If your video hardware did not pass the system check, you may receive the following error message that states that RalliSport Challenge does not support the video hardware: The video hardware is supported if it meets the memory requirement and passes the system check when you start RalliSport Challenge.
