the Microsoft Windows NT SNMP extension agent (Evntagnt.dll) spurious events may be recorded. These events include:
Event 1025 - Unable to load PrimaryModule Application. LoadLibrary returned 126.
Event 6002 - Mutex object could not be released. Reason code is 288. Trap may not be sent.
These events do not affect the operation of either extension
agent, but may cause unnecessary alerts to be triggered if monitoring for errors
is occurring. CAUSEEvent 6002 occurs because the SMS SNMP extension
agent and the Windows NT SNMP extension agent share a mutex. Both agents
use the same named mutex and both agents serve the same purpose. RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
