PRJ2000: Values in the MSP_Timephased_Data Table Do Not Match Values in the Task Usage View (810594)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Project 2000

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 2000, if you turn on the Expand timephased data in the database option, save your project file, and then view the project, the values TD_Value1 through TD_Value7 in the MSP_Timephased_Data table do not match the values that are in the Task Usage view.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

MORE INFORMATION

Microsoft Project does not base timephased data values on the project calendar or on the resource calendar. Microsoft Project uses a 24-hour calendar to create the timephased data values, and bases the first TD_Value on the start date of the task. Microsoft Project calculates the other TD_Value dates by using the TD_Units.
