Errors in the Terminal Services Window after Applying Update 328774 (810372)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Server Appliance Kit (SAK), version 2.01
SYMPTOMSWhen you quit the NT Backup program, you may experience the
following symptoms:
- The Terminal Services window may remain open.
- You may receive an Internet Explorer script error
message.
CAUSEThe Server Appliance Kit (SAK) update 328774 was released to
correct issues that were created by Internet Explorer security update 323759.
The 328774 update changed the behavior of the NTBackup Terminal
Services ASP scripts in SAK.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this behavior, use one of the following methods:
- If the Terminal Services window remains open, click the
Close button (X) in the upper right corner to close the
window.
- To prevent the Internet Explorer script errors from
occurring, update the client Web browser to Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack
2 or later.
STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
