Keyboard Issues

When You Use the Japanese Keyboard, the Layout Converts "@" to ""

This is a keyboard character mapping issue. Windows Powered Smart Display only supports the U.S. English standard keyboard layout.

Extended Keyboard Keys Do Not Perform Nested Remote Desktop Commands

This is a known issue. You must perform these commands manually.

When Windows Powered Smart Display Connects to a Tablet PC, Two On-Screen Keyboards Are Present

This issue occurs because both devices have their own built-in on-screen keyboards. To resolve this issue:
  1. Sign out of Windows Powered Smart Display.
  2. Close the Tablet PC Input Panel (keyboard that appears on the screen).
  3. Sign in to the Windows Powered Smart Display, and then reconnect the device.

After Windows Powered Smart Display Connects or Disconnects to the Host Computer, the Keyboard NUM LOCK Key Is Turned Off, and Must Be "Re-Locked"

This is a known issue. To resolve this issue, reset the NUM LOCK key.

Logitech iTouch Cordless Freedom Wireless Keyboard Has Limited Functionality

This issue occurs because the special drivers that the iTouch keyboard requires for its iTouch keys, multimedia keys, and its special keyboard features are not compatible with Windows Powered Smart Display. This issue also occurs because Windows Powered Smart Display is Microsoft Windows CE-based, and the iTouch drivers are designed for standard desktop versions of Microsoft Windows.

Mouse Issues

Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer Does Not Work

This is a known issue with the Wireless Intellimouse Explorer. Microsoft recommends that you try to use a different mouse.

Transcriber

Transcriber Does Not Work in a "Command" Window

This is a known issue. To resolve this issue, you must use a keyboard, or the on-screen keyboard to enter text.
