Smart Display: Wireless Networks: Japanese and Korean Characters Are Garbled for Network Names (810284)

SYMPTOMS

If the host computer is configured to use the Japanese or Korean language keyboard settings, and you view your network folders and directories with the Windows Powered Smart Display, some of the names of the folders and directories appear garbled, scrambled, or otherwise distorted.

CAUSE

This is a known issue with the Japanese and Korean language regional settings and the Smart Display.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, use the English language or other language settings.
