Works: Formatting Disappears When Show Formulas Is Activated (81178)

Turning Show Formulas on causes all numbers to be displayed in
the General format. Percent, currency, and fixed-number formatting
disappear. Times and dates are displayed as numbers. Alignment and column
widths may also change. Styles like bold, underline, and italics continue
to be displayed.
RESOLUTION
To recover all formatting, turn Show Formulas off by selecting
Show Formulas on the Options menu.
