Works: Printing with Generic/Text Only Printer Driver (80473)

The Generic/Text Only printer driver versions 3.0 and 3.1 does not
print or preview the Works for Windows Spreadsheet or Database list
view, or Database report correctly. When you print, the ninth line of
text prints over the eighth line, and Works will then overprint every
eleventh line until a page break occurs.
WORKAROUND
To print these documents with this driver, copy the information into
the Word Processor and print from there. To copy from the Spreadsheet
and Database list view, use the Copy command from the Edit menu. To
copy from the Database report, use the Copy Report Output command from
the Edit menu.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in version 3.0 and 3.1 of
the Generic/Text Only printer driver. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as
it becomes available.
