SUMMARY

The following are the requirements to run Works for Windows, multimedia edition, versions 2.0 and 2.0a:

  1. MS-DOS or PC-DOS operation system version 3.1 or later
  2. Microsoft CD-ROM Extensions (MSCDEX) version 2.2 or later
  3. Microsoft Window graphical environment version 3.0 or later with Multimedia Extensions version 1.0 or later
  4. Multimedia PC or equivalent, 16 MHz 386SX or higher microprocessor strongly recommend (subset of sound and animation will run on 10-MHz 286 microprocessor), 2 MB of RAM (4 MB of RAM recommended), 30 MB hard disk, CD_ROM drive, VGA or VGA+ display, audio board, and mouse

    -or-

    Equivalent personal computer with Multimedia PC upgrade kit (CD-ROM drive and audio board) (check with your dealer for more information)
  5. Headphone or speakers connected to your system
