Works Err Msg: Backup File Name Same as Directory Name (79222)

SUMMARY

When saving a Works for Windows file from the Word Processor, Spreadsheet, or Database to a network server using Novell NetWare 386 version 3.11, the following error message may occur:
Backup file name same as directory name
The error message does not occur when saving a file to the local hard drive.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Works version 2.0. This problem was corrected in Works version 2.0a.

Workaround for Version 2.0

Choose Save As from the File menu and select the Make Backup Copy check box before choosing the OK button.
