The following compiler error
BC : internal error near xxxx
can occur when the SGN(x) function is used in a SUB with an equation
that uses a passed integer variable. This problem does not occur in
the QBX.EXE environment, or in versions earlier than 7.0 of the BC.EXE
compiler that is included with Microsoft Basic Professional Development
System (PDS) for MS-DOS and MS OS/2.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug with Microsoft Basic
Professional Development System (PDS) for MS-DOS and MS OS/2,
versions 7.0 and 7.1. This problem was corrected in Microsoft
Visual Basic version 1.0 for MS-DOS.
