This article discusses how to query a Works database for all entries that
contain a blank or nonblank field.
Works 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5a
To find all entries that are blank or nonblank respectively, do the
following:
- On the Tools menu, click Filters.
- Select the desired Field name.
- Under Comparison, click Is Blank or Is Not
Blank, as appropriate. Note that the Is Blank operator will also
find records that contain only spaces.
Works for Windows 3.0
To query a Works 3.0 for Windows database for all entries that contain a
blank or nonblank field, place the desired formula from the list below into
the appropriate field in the query screen.
