OL98: Overlapping or Adjacent Meetings Deleted from Calendar (75056)

You are using Microsoft Outlook 98 and collaborate with others users who
use Microsoft Schedule + 1.0. You notice that some accepted meeting
requests sent from these users are being deleted from your Outlook
Calendar.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if the appointments have been booked by different
Schedule+ 1.0 users, and the appointments either run consecutively or
overlap in the Outlook Calendar.
When you accepted the second overlapping or consecutive Schedule+ 1.0
appointment, the existing Schedule+ 1.0 appointment that is already present
is deleted by Outlook.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook version
8.5.5104.6.
A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft,
but has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely
affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for
the next Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack.
