PRB: Menu Won't Stay Open When Click Toolbox or Color Palette (73418)

SYMPTOMS

When running Windows version 3.0, if you click the System menu (the Control menu in the upper left corner) of the Toolbox or the Color Palette in the Visual Basic environment, the menu flashes on the screen but does not stay visible as it should.

CAUSE

This behavior only occurs when running Microsoft Windows version 3.0. When running Microsoft Windows version 3.1, the menus remain visible as you would expect.

WORKAROUND

To keep the Toolbox or Color Palette system menu pulled down when running Microsoft Windows version 3.0, you must hold down the mouse button.

STATUS

This problem was corrected in Windows version 3.1.
