WRK Fish Screen Saver Requires Standard or Enhanced Mode (73134)

SYMPTOMS

The WRK Fish screen saver produces a System Error message when activated without HIMEM.SYS loading under Windows 3.0. If you start Windows 3.0 with the command

Win /r

With HIMEM.SYS loaded, Fish causes your system to stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This is a limitation of the Fish program.

This information applies to Microsoft Windows versions 3.0 and 3.0a. This does not apply to later versions of Windows.

WORKAROUND

Run Windows in standard or enhanced mode.
