Cannot Use COUNTRY=041 (Swiss German) with OS/2 & LAN Man (64675)

SUMMARY

Microsoft has confirmed that the following problem occurs in OS/2 LAN Manager versions 2.0, 2.1, 2.1a, and 2.2. We are researching this problem and will post new information as it becomes available.

Subject: Swiss problem with LM 2.00

I'd like to inform you of a problem we found with OS/2 LAN Manager version 2.0 in Switzerland. You cannot install or run OS/2 LAN Manager when COUNTRY is set to 041 (for Swiss German) in CONFIG.SYS. So, if a customer reports an error upon installation (something like "error in setup.inf") the only workaround is to specify COUNTRY=049 (for German), then it works. I hope this problem will be corrected in the localized version. I've reported this problem to NETBUG.
