Intermittent Installation on the Packard-Bell PS/2 Port (61591)

When the 400 dots-per-inch (dpi) Microsoft Mouse is attached to the
PS/2 port of a Packard-Bell PackMate 2, PackMate 65, Excel 5, or
Legend 5 computer, the mouse sometimes does not install correctly.
However, when the mouse is attached to the serial port, there are no
installation problems.

technical support for assistance.
