SUMMARY

To run a Mail server on a machine that is running GateKeeper (a virus-detection program), use the Control Panel to add the Microsoft Mail Server (located in the System Folder) to the privileged applications list.

Mail requires the GateKeeper Res/Self checkbox to be selected for the Microsoft Mail Server file to function properly.

MORE INFORMATION

To run a Mail client on a machine that is running GateKeeper, use the above steps to add the workstation driver to the privileged applications list. In Mail 2.00, the driver is called MS Mail 2.0 and in Mail 3.00, the driver is called MS Mail.

The client also needs to have the Res/Self check box selected to function properly.
