This article was previously published under Q47757 SUMMARY
Switcher is a program that allows multiple applications to reside in
memory at the same time. This is similar to MultiFinder; however, no
background processing is done under Switcher. Switcher was written by
Andy Hertzfeld, and Version 5.00 is copyright 1986 by Apple Computer,
Inc.
Running QuickBASIC under Switcher Version 5.00 on a Macintosh II,
Macintosh SE/30, or Macintosh IIcx results in a system error or a
hang. Older Macintoshes with enough memory to run multiple
applications may run QuickBASIC with fewer or no problems under the
Switcher.
Microsoft has not tested QuickBASIC for the Macintosh under the
Switcher. Microsoft does not guarantee compatibilty.
This information applies to Microsoft QuickBASIC Version 1.00 for
the Apple Macintosh.
